Excellent book for beginners in R

I am relatively new to R, and this is the second book I read on it.
It was easy to read and the walk-through examples helped me to get comfortable with the different R libraries that are being used to draw heat maps in R.
I found the many examples and figures very helpful and it is nice that the author also provided some background about the different functions.

Short and concise

It is a really brief tutorial on heat maps in R. This is what I expected from a 72 page book, it really helps to get to the action fast. Additional information and background information was helpful, and some basic R explanations were welcome refreshers.
